Welcome To The Practice

To improve our services to our patients, from the 1st April 2020 Croft Hall Medical Practice will be closed from 1 – 2pm Monday to Friday.

This will allow more staff to be available outside of this hour to answer the phones and deal with queries more efficiently.

By making this change, we have also been able to make more appointments available for our patients.

Thank you for supporting us.

Croft Hall Medical Practice

GP Appointments are now available in your area during the evenings and at the weekend. To book an appointment contact your practice. Your NHS, here for you.

We are a three-partner practice, providing care for approximately 8,000 patients with a practice area that extends across the whole of Torquay. We employ a full range of professional medical and clerical staff and our large, spacious premises enable us to house additional services, some of which are detailed on this website.

Croft Hall Medical Practice is a friendly, innovative, up-to-date and fully computerised surgery, which has been at its present location since 1995. The building was formerly the St John of God Nursing Home and, prior to that, its history stretches back to being a hotel, a presbytery and a private residence. It is a large Victorian villa with pleasant gardens, parking and ground floor access for disabled people.

Based in the heart of Torquay, close to the local bus and train station, there are three waiting areas available for patients, which provide a comfortable waiting space. There are clinical rooms downstairs to provide easy access for patients in wheelchairs or with pushchairs or prams. The practice building is also served by a lift which provides access to the first and second floor of the building.
